Meet Our Staff

Yun Kim, Pastor

Pastor Yun was born in South Korea and immigrated to the United States when he was a year old. He grew up in Los Angeles spent time in Mexico, New York, and Puerto Rico for his studies, and ended up in Austin which he now calls home. Currently, he is a practicing family physician. He is currently attending Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Vivian and together they have a son and daughter that are in high school. He currently pastors Living Hope Ministry, the english speaking congregation at Lord’s Church of Austin. Outside of his work and studies, he enjoys playing ice hockey and recently completed his first triathlon.

Susie Kim, Associate Pastor

Susie Kim was born in Garden Grove, California and grew up in Wichita Falls and Flower Mound, Texas. She received her bachelor’s degree in Applied Learning and Development from the University of Texas at Austin and her master’s in Christian Education (with a specialization in Women’s Ministry) from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Currently, she studies Biblical Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary. Susie attended the Lord’s Church of Austin throughout her college years and now assists Pastor Yun Kim in serving Living Hope Ministry.
